WATCH YOUR SHOES! – I was invited this past Saturday, March 24th, to en Japanese Brasserie to celebrate my good friends 30th birthday dinner & was pleasantly surprised with the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. My friend rented a private room for the occasion and following Japanese tradition, we had to remove our shoes upon entering the secluded room. Very Special Japanese Experience – I am lover of cooked Japanese food and En is a standout. Spectacular interior, impeccable service from the host's greeting to the food runner. Fresh tofu is a special treat; stone grilled chicken; rice pot with salmon, shiso garlic rice and of course my favorite kakuni -- braised pork belly. I lovetreating myself to dinner at En, which is pricey but worth it. Excellent cocktails -- fresh grapefruit juice with shiso and japanese vodka amazing ---and interesting wine list, too.
