I was Emy's client for 4 years. She was never supportive of my needs to discuss my horrific, childhood trauma it's effects on others in my life. Her use of DBT was ineffective and confusing. She talked more about herself than in an authentic, person-centered approach. Most of her positive reviews are from collaborative colleagues and not from actual insurance clients.

I have known Emy as a colleague for many years, in fact she graciously offered to be a mentor to me with respect to DBT work. Although she is highly experienced, she continues to be open to learning and growing as a clinician. Emy is very smart and has a great sense of humor. She is respectful of her clients and has excellent boundaries. I highly recommend her as a therapist.

She warms to people easily and understands the balance between listening and intervention. Emy inspires confidence.
