Yeah, it's an accelerated course...but the instructors make darn sure that you're competent with the material by the end of the 8 weeks. I had an amazing time learning with these guys. Erica, Stefan, and Cody make a great trio of instructors with some top notch interpersonal skills. They all know how to maintain the humor in things (in order to not lose the focus of their students) and how to drill into our brains the foundational principles we ought to know. The Orem campus has some great instructors. The thing I liked most right from the start was how real and honest they all were. They made it easy to enjoy every lesson and are passionate on seeing all their students succeed. If you are on the fence like I was, I’d highly recommend taking the courses they offer through the Orem campus
Erica, Stephan, and Cody have a real passion for EMS and it really shows through her teaching. Thanks to them, I feel confident that I can be an effective and compassionate provider and advocate for my patients. EMT Utah's Orem location has been a great experience. The instructors Erica, Cody and Stefan are all great at what they do and genuinely care about what they do. All currently work in emergency services so their ability to explain everything you learn in class to real life scenarios is extremely helpful. I highly recommend the EMT Utah Orem campus. Erica, Cody, and Stefan are fantastic at teaching and demonstrating the skills that we need to succeed in the field. They definitely made learning enjoyable and I feel prepared to help people when the time comes. I am excited to continue my AEMT learning at this campus at the beginning of next year.
