My husband spent 2 weeks at Empress Gardens and loved it. He was very impressed with every staff member he met...not one complaint about anyone! The food was tasty, and he certainly didn't go hungry. While he isn't a breakfast person normally, he certainly enjoyed breakfast at the Empress!
My wife and I assisted her aunt transition from an apartment to Empress Gardens. The support we received from the entire staff was absolutely amazing! Her aunt is enjoying the cozy family atmosphere and amenities. She feels like she matters!
Empress Gardens literally saved my life. I was being discharged from hospital with nowhere to go. A social worker at the hospital provided a list of retirement residences that offered respite services. Empress Gardens was able to take me immediately. I experienced a very warm welcome from both staff and residents. As well, I appreciated having three wonderful meals each day. I will never forget the kindness extended to me, when I was facing the most difficult experience of my life.
Empress Gardens has been a wonderful place for dad to live. His needs were met. Love and care are obvious values instilled in the staff and management.
My Dad stayed at Empress Gardens for 5 years. The staff there are phenominal from the Executive Director, to the Nursing Staff, Dining Room Staff, Maintenance Staff and Front Reception. All of the staff knew my Dad by name and they treated him with respect. His cat, Riley was loved by all of the staff too. My Dad's needs and wants were heard, taken into account and honoured whenever possible.
