I completely see a big difference in myself, and began getting closer to God! She is great, she listens and never is judge mental and she even prays with you. I still have a long way to go and a lot of trauma to heal from! But it feels to great to not be so afraid of the people that caused me so much harm and be able to set healthy boundaries. She is worth every penny! She also loves the Lord and can help you break down bible verses if you need the help.

I had been seeing therapists my entire life with no help. I found Mrs. Torres after my mother's sudden passing because I needed help and wanted a Christian based therapist. In just our short amount of time she has truly changed my life and my family's life for the better. She has made me a better person and I truly owe her the world. I was very glad to stumble upon EmPowered2Shift and Shakeeta Torres when I did. While in her care, I felt heard during our sessions and she met me where I was in my journey, while also challenging me to take more steps forward. I really appreciated her methods, especially my "homework".

Shakeeta has been a huge blessing to my life & benefit to my family. She helped me through childhood trauma, postpartum depression, symptoms of anxiety & just overall lack of motivation & joy. While always professional, talking through things with Shakeeta I always felt like I was just talking to a trustworthy friend. To put the cherry on top she has a level of transparency that allowed me to feel safe enough to share the lowest of low moments in my life because she was relatable.
