I have rented 2 different homes from Empower in the last 4 years. My experience has been absolutely stellar each time. I’ve dealt with both Brandy and Desiree throughout my tenancies, and have been taken excellent care of across the board. Empower strikes a terrific balance between ensuring that the homes in their charge are maintained well by the tenants and that the tenants are treated fairly. I lived in a rental property for 3 years and had Empower as the property management and they were always beyond helpful. I never had a lack of communication nor were they hard to work with. The moving in, inspections and moving out went incredibly smooth and I have nothing but good things to say.
The most miserable people I’ve ever dealt with. Unnecessarily petty; try to be slick but not quite smart enough to pull it off. Likes to talk down on you and use hella words but never quite answers your question. Will outright lie, then deny saying something. Uses all caps (lol) but will be loud and wrong. Advice: get everything before lease signing in writing. After that it’s pretty ironclad but they (wrongfully, in my case) assume you won’t read it.
