I was having issues with my charger pausing and I couldn't figure out why for the life of me. I chatted with Ben, who was able to troubleshoot and narrow it down to it being my electric company pausing my charger. He was very kind, patient and helpful. My Level 2 EV charger has worked great with my Ford Lightning and customer service thus far has been top notch. Thank you!
I did research on level 2 chargers and there were many excellent reviews on YouTube. I also chatted with a number of Facebook EV group members and realized the Emporia was a great choice. I installed it today and started with a bad attitude and that spilled over to their support rep and as much as I had a poopy attitude their support was wonderful. The rep was smart and incredibly helpful. I also learned Emporia is right in my backyard, near Denver. Thanks for a great product and stellar support. Richard (in Fort Collins).
Went from having a perfectly functional mobile app to ruining the experience with a single update. You can no longer smoothly scroll through usage history. Now you get one page per second, one page per minute, etc. Completely kills the experience. No longer usable.
Jack from customer support was amazing! Helped me figure out the details of plugs, volts, amps, chargers, etc. I'm a very satisfied Emporia customer.
I've never left a 1 star review on anything! Customer service is terrible. The rep literally ignored what I said, didn't validate my frustration, and talked past me. Ryan kept deflecting responsibility to other departments rather than being solution minded. They should teach their reps to use softeners like "I'm sorry about that. Or I'm afraid it might be this way on your end." Not "that's on your end not ours." Or "Nothing we can do on that, not our area." App is not great either.
