I'd rate this business zero stars if I could. We also paid this company what we all thought was a bill from our local newspaper. Now, there is no one that answers the phone, just a place to leave a message that I am sure will NEVER be returned. Regardless of the fact that the disclaimer is in "32 pt bold type" it is still a dishonest way to make money. I will tell you, if we are supposed to SIGN at the bottom of the "invoice" when we agree to the terms then the terms were not agreed to. The top portion you received from us i... read more
Placed an ad in a local newspaper and received an apparent bill from Employment Publishing for listing the ad I placed in an actual newspaper. The apparent bill does state in large print: THIS IS NOT A BILL THIS IS A SOLICITATION. YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO PAY THE AMOUNT STATED ABOVE UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER. Very tricky. Luckily, I realized this was a scam and did not send any money.
Misleading, deceptive, fraudulent advertisement to look like a bill. I paid it. Now I get to go through the hassle of getting a refund from thieves.
Business response:
We are sorry you are unhappy with the mailing you received. We feel we are operating ethically, and in full compliance with the law. Please note that our solicitations prominently bears on their face the required disclaimer in bright green 32 point bold type, stating the form is not a bill, but a solicitation. In addition, the form contains many other details on the front and back of the solicitation on exactly what our offer is. Such as “An independent classified service”.
I have to agree with everyone else, and say that they are a "scam company". Their "solicitation" is very misleading; three college educated individuals reviewed it and thought it was an actual invoice. In our company it's not unheard of for our HR department to place ads unbeknownst to operations. We were just about to send it to accounting, when I looked at it one last time and saw the disclaimer. If the invoice was for $374 instead of $3,740, it would have never been brought to my attention, and potentially paid. Buyer bew... read more
I'm not sure what the Employment Publishing responses are getting at. Your marketing looks exactly like an invoice, despite what is written on it, it is not honest or nor respectable. For those googling if this is an invoice and have reached here, IT IS NOT. It's another terrible marketing attempt to scheme people into contacting them or even just paying the 'solicitation' without fully reading it. For the response team: Don't kid yourselves, don't even respond to this. You know what you're doing and you know why you're gett... read more
Thieves! Don’t pay this bill. This fake publishing company is a predator

This is the second time receiving invoice from this firm "Employment Publishing" and we've never used their service. The timing is very suspicious too, I think they are looking at other newspapers advertisement and sending out invoices based on the ad on other newspapers. This is a very sneaky and tricky way to get money from companies that didn't even use their services. Sending invoices to companies that didn't use their service and try to make money off of them is unacceptable business practice. This should not be allowed... read more

this company are scam artists. they send a statement that looks like a bill after you have placed an advertisement in your local paper in hopes that you will send them a check. they have sent me statement the last 2 times i have placed an ad in my local newspaper. don't be fooled.
This is a fraud company. Sent an invoice as if it came from my local news paper ad billing company on the same week when I published the ad in local news paper. I thought invoice came from local news paper billing company and sent the check. They simply cashed it. Later I started getting invoice from my news paper agency. Going to file a case in my local police station
