I tell you what.. you guys have made me feel good today. I thought that maybe it was just me, but I applied there, I am well qualified for the positions I applied for. no word from them after interview. then out of the cloudy AZ sky, the storm must've blew these ppl my way...again. so I get a call asking me to come in for an interview with the 2hour window, advised the lady that I had been there and done that. she couldn't find my app she went on to state I may have to come in to fill out app again and interview again( inter... read more
These guys appear to not know what they are doing. I am signed up for work with them and have been e-mailing them on a frequent basis when they post jobs that I am qualified for. The last time I did this they acted as thought they had no idea when I signed up with them for assignments and told me that I would have to come in for another "interview" even though I told them that nothing had changed on my resume except my contact phone number. When I told them that I did not know why I would have to come in for an interview sin... read more
I worked several temporary assignments for Employment Hotline in 2010. Things were a little rocky at my first assignment which was distributing stock between the satelite cafes around the U of A. After less than a year, I was employed full time with the U of A Facilities Management. Andrea placed me back then I am currently in need of another job and plan to contact Employment Hotline. I will post my new experience with them and hope it is going to be as positive as the last time I used their service.
Bad, bad communication – I was searching thru job postings on C.L. and found a post for a “procurement specialist”. They did a very good job at writing it. They made it sound like “we are desperate for just about anyone, we are going to pay you large sums of money, ect.”… So, I applied and got a call from someone pretty quickly and they spoke really fast. She said “I have an opening for an interview on Monday between 8-10 am”, I said I couldn’t make it so she said “ok, Wednesday between 2-4 pm”. I thought this is really odd,... read more
Worst Experience Ever – The worst experience I have ever been through. I would not normally go through an acency but per the lack of jobs recently I decided it wouldn't hurt so sent in my resume with several jobs they had listed. I went in and filled out an application and sat with a rep who couldn't even keep my name right. She stated I was over qualified for what they had ( I applied for general labor and janitorial ) ?? Then recieved a call for an entirely different job. Many months have gone by and I have applied for sev... read more
want a scam – Employment Hotline is truly a scam. Even if they don't charge you, it is still a scam. The Employment Hotline advertises jobs with the Arizona Department of Economic Security. They don't state that they are an employment agency in the job listing. The Hotline offers a $40K admministrative job and they will not let you apply like a regular company. They will not take phone calls, faxes, emails, mail, or electronic resume submissions. They make you physically come in to their tiny hole in the wall office so they ... read more
Interviews At Employment Hotline – I recently have been looking for a job. The problem is is that you should not apply for jobs you are not qualified for. I found that I applied for a job that I had no experience in. Not only do you waste your time but that of the interviewer as well. It was explained to me that although I had experience in one job I did not have experience in another job. I was told my resume would be sent to the company seeking to fill that position. If the employer is interested, Employment Hotline will c... read more
Worst Temp agency ever – I applied with Employment hotline and got a call back, one month later. When they called me back it was not about the type of work I submitted for(customer service), it was for moving books. I asked to think it over and Lydia said OK. I called back, to take the job, later that day and the next day twice leaving messages, no response at all. She calls me two days later to let me know the position had been filled. If that is the kind of treatment people get don't expect Employment hotline to find you a... read more
do not use employment hotline – i worked for employment hotline for few months and they told me they would find a new position for me. i tried and tried contacting andrea and betty, but they were always "busy" and never called back or emailed me back. dont waste your time, they will critizie your resume and tell you your not qualified for anything. they called every person that sent in a resume to come in for an interview, just to shut them down. why would they call EVERY person that sent in a resume?? they got hundreds of p... read more
