The female Manager, whom I heard is the owner, is overtly rude. She kept patrons waiting outside in the freezing cold though they have reservations n people waiting for them inside. A woman missed her birthday party waiting outside. They knew that all too well n insisted she waits. We asked why, she said “bec u complain, now u wait longer.” Eventually her friends left to take her elsewhere n my friend came out n left w me too. Weird!! !!!!
Came from Orlando, FL with my boyfriend which read the Speakeasy book and he definitely couldn’t leave NYC without visiting this bar...got him a shirt so he can remember the visit for times to come and talk about his experience. Thanks for the Mata Hari shots!!!
First time in New York City and this bar did not disappoint. Alejandro and Franky were our bartenders and they exceeded all expectations. Amazing service, great entertainment, and genuinely nice people. Highly recommend them.

Possibly the worst treatment I have ever had by door staff. Shoved out the door simply for waiting around for potential entry and had my phone knocked out of my had by the bouncer. I look forward to speaking with management about my treatment. Let's see if they actually give a crap about their reputation. Based on their hiring practices, probably not.
