Empire West Property Management should not even be considered a property management company because quite frankly, THEY DO NOT DO THEIR JOB!! They have been a complete and utter nightmare to work with from the beginning and have only gotten worse over time. 1. You must continuously hound them for ANYTHING to get repaired. The absolute WORST management company in History!!!! The AC in all the units is currently NOT WORKING with the exception of the unit that does not have central air. One neighbor has been out for over a week, the technician came out to “fix” it for them, telling them they need a part and will have to wait. Last night ours goes out. (It’s currently 86 degrees in our apartment.) We obtain the number of the AC technician and they don’t have any tickets for maintenance for our complex. Best property management company. I feel confident that I had two of the worst properties in LA and Olivia helped change our situation for the better! I inherited 2 properties from my uncle in which I was trustee. Both properties were in LA. I first hired a property manager that knew nothing about LA. They did absolutely nothing. Horrible. FUNGUS AND LEAKING.
I moved in Oct 2024 and it’s been a nightmare. EMF radiation from a high-voltage power pole in front of my unit made me sick. Even with a doctor’s note, they refused to let me move without paying to break the lease. Constant loud construction with no warning — even woke me up on Easter at 7AM. Zero care for tenants.
