We had $10,000 worth of ceramic tile, carpeting, real wood flooring and laminate put in a home we bought in 2017. Install was done in 2017 by Empire Today. The Ceramic tile in bathroom that Empire installed was coming up and grout was deteriorating. This should not have occurred at all if install was done appropriately. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to have our lower level carpet redone. I was given a 2 hour window of between 9 and 11 am. No one showed up or called. I called to cancel my appointment and the guy on the other end of the phone could not have cared less when I told him no one showed up. He just said ok well I cancelled that for you. Are you kidding?

I signed a contract with empire today to re carpet the whole second floor including stairs and put hardwood in family room and living room. After a couple hours, the carpet guy told me that the closets were not included in the contract, then the customer service lady said because the closets were not included, so the installer don't have enough carpet, they have to come back another day, and I might have to pay extra! I called the sales guy, he said of course the closets are included, they were just short of carpet somehow! ... read more

We wanted to get some carpeting done, and we agreed on a price and date. Spent the week moving everything out of our living room to get ready for carpet installation. Then on the very morning they were due, they cancelled. They offered to reschedule. Don't bother, you lost a customer.
