I had an install scheduled and confirmed. No one ever showed up and when I called I was told someone would come after 3pm. No one shoulder up. when I called back the second time I was told he will not be coming because he has another install, so will not make it today. I tried to speak to a supervisor, no one called me back and install still not scheduled. Still waiting for a call back. This is very unprofessional. I had Empire Today install wood laminate in my home on May 29, 2019. The product was marketed as **pet friendly** and was not supposed to scratch with normal pet traffic. Besides the sawdust and dusty floors left behind by the installer, the floor scratched the very first time my dog walked on the floor. The salesman had brought many samples with him and I chose the Amber Walnut Southgate Series that was supposed to resist pet scratches. my daughter is using them bad install job, no manager will help her, the bad installer is literally stalking her as well his wife has called her It’s very frightening for her and for me to see my daughter and my granddaughter having to deal with this. Very unprofessional company

After I had the order done for what I wanted. It was 9 weeks before they were hung. Called the person who wrote the work order several time. One time he said that he talked with the person who was put in the blinds. That was 2 weeks prior. Did not bother to call myself. Did call there customer service after the blinds were hung. Empire installed a type of carpet that is hypoallergenic, helps with smells and doesn't absorb liquids. It looks great and feels soft on our feet in spite of being so durable. Empire claims to be the only company that has it and it is great for pet owners. Installation was quick and the installers were courteous. The representative who initially came to our home was nice and was helpful. We originally wanted laminate flooring, but it didn't work out due to the settling of our old house. The salespeople are extremely rude and look at you like a floating dollar sign. If they feel you're 'not worth it', they rush through and just try to get out the door. Don't try to ask them to measure your rooms, either...unless you want to hear grumbling. Better carpeting for half the price is available through competitors...just shop around.

We had a bedroom and hall installed about a year and a half ago. The installation was completed in three days due to not emough material being brought for the job. Within 6 months there was a wear pattern, moreso than the carpet that had been there 10 years. This was not cheap carpet, appx $1700 for a bedroom and hall. The complaint investigators came out and said the wear was normal. Sorry. I would not use Empire again. Their warranty sounds good but I doubt seriously if there is ever a corrective action taken.
