When we got Michael's ALS diagnosis, it felt like everything was being ripped from us. From our time to our future together. It's hard to stop those feelings from expanding once you stop to think. I found myself the past year or so trying desperately to stop everything from leaving with a truly dreadful reality. Despite hair mishaps on my end the protective stylist was as patient as she is talented! She was very attentive to the needs of my hair and meticulously executed a gorgeous sew in. The atmosphere was quiet and chill which is so important when you have to sit for hours. Cleanliness was outstanding.

I’ll recommend Empire Stylez to anyone and everyone who will listen! Amaris has been doing my hair for about a year and a half and I can’t brag enough about how great of a job she does. From braiding to silk-presses, she always has me leaving feeling like a million bucks. She is so knowledgeable, and has nursed my hair that was once dead, dull, dry, and frizzy- to now being the healthiest its ever been. Thankful for these guys. They always treat you like family here and the cuts are top notch! Joe always gets my fade just right. It’s also hard to find a quality barber that will work Sundays. If you’re looking for a great cut at a fair price.. this is the spot. Joe and Martez are both great.

This is my shop! Martez is on point! I moved from Miami and was worried about finding a good barber in a small town, well I found an amazing barber! Wouldn’t even know I left Miami… Plus, he’s a nice guy great conversationalist with massive fade skills!
