Last night I had the pleasure of Dj'ing at Empire. I put in an order for sushi, the house special, and it was brought out to me without exaggeration, in under a minute. One of the best house specials I've ever had too. Amazing atmosphere and decor matched with excellent service and food.
Sat at the bar. The service was quite poor. Ordered the special roll hat evening, it was nearly $30 but tasted mostly of tempura. It was a waste. Bartender never came back to refill water glasses. She acted like she was upset that we came in and sat at the bar to eat. This wasn't my 1st visit here, but it will be my last. Each time before nothing was that great aside from the ambiance is nice. I Just Love this Place , nice food,nice music, nice drinks ��
My daughter has severe allergies to dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame seeds and this is by far one of most accommodating restaurants we have been to. Normally she has a difficult time eating at Asian cuisine restaurants because of her allergy to sesame, and almost everything tends to be cooked with sesame oil. The manager of the wait staff (whom was wearing a red dress, I didn't get her name) was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect to ensure we had a great meal that my daughter could also enjoy. The food was amazing and good prices but when we paid the bill in cash one of the waiters stole 80 dollars leaving the actually waitress 30 dollars tip, we ended paying another 80 dollars but some of the employees are untrustworthy. Won't be going there again!
Amazing food, it's expensive but well worth it. The potstickers, scallion pancakes, lo mein are awesome
