This dealer is a fraud I bought a 2019 crv-ex l On Feb 3 2022. They bait and switch They never told me that the car was in an accident and portrayed it as certified per Honda specifics.Then throw ******* plus warranty plus **** for tire and wheel I just cancelled that!! My car was damaged while in the Empire Honda repair shop. NO ONE TOLD ME IT HAD BEEN DAMAGED! I discovered the damage after I paid the **** and took possession of my car. It was only after I contacted Honda Corporate that I was able to find out how my car was damaged. The technician put it on the lift with the hood open and it hit the shop heater causing impact damage to the hood surrounded by a burned area. I asked for an oil change and NY State inspection. I have been doing business with Honda at this location since the 80's. In November 2020, I spoke with the parts supervisor Alex about a $200 Honda Courtesy Card I had (which was verified and ready to use). He said he would honor the card because "money is money." I needed some parts (I work at a auto service station) and he said he would deduct each part as it was delivered to us and I kept a running tab. Bought a car on 2/26/20 used And am already paying for car part they charge me $150.00 plus tax just to check what’s was wrong with my vehicle to then inform me that the piece that was damage is out of warranty coverage that’s another $400.00 plus tax Unbelievable to then a few days later my car battery dies I called them and they just informed me that the warranty does not cover that either that it will be another $200.00. I am an outraged customer. I have experienced the most despicable car sales treatment that is so typically characteristic of this industry. Hustle and lies … offer whatever is necessary to get the sale. They offered to repair the damage on my car before it was returned to the lessor to get me to close a deal on a new lease. They didn't do any repair work which resulted in a "wear and tear" charge of $1,700. Very shady sales practices. Came in to get my vehicle appraised and was offered 3 grand less then what my vehicle was worth. I knew That the amount that I owed on my current loan was more than what my car was worth. I asked the sales manager what happens with the negative equity and he kept dodging the question and telling me that he could make the numbers work.
