Never again will I go back to Empire Eye. I was referred to them by my eye doctor on 2/27/2025. The next day, they contacted me to schedule my appointment. We scheduled it for Friday the 7th of March. Later that day, 2:25 pm, I received a call back saying that I couldn't wait till the 7th (one week away) and that I needed to come in that day and that I would need to be there by 3 pm. When dealing with Empire Eye, you are not actually dealing with Empire Eye, you are dealing with an Eye Equity Company called Sight Partners. Take a moment to Google this Everett WA based company. Do not discount how much this will affect your care. This is some sort of private equity company based out of the Seattle area pulling the strings of your local ophthalmologist. You will notice. I was very satisfied with the entire process. I had cataract surgery on one eye and the other the following week. All of the staff were very professional and friendly. I did not realize how dull my vision had become. The clarity and the contrast are back. I can see a long way now and I can read the signs on the road from far way again!
They did my lasik surgery a few years ago and everyone was great! But I’ve Been struggling with dry eye and was prescribed medication through them and recently ran out. I was never notified i would have to come back in to get a new prescription medication after so long until i have a full eye exam again, which totally makes since. I have one booked but they wont allow me any partial refills to get me through to my appointment so now i get to go to urgent care to get dry eye medication. Not impressed what so ever.
