I was looking to book a curly hair appointment and came across this salon. But $500 for a 3-hour “new client experience” is honestly shocking — especially with a $250 deposit required upfront. That’s more than many professionals earn in a day! I get that the Bay Area is expensive, but this feels excessive. Hair care should be accessible, not priced like a luxury retreat. It’s getting out of hand.
Anyea is amazing! When I decided to start my curly hair journey, I was hesitant and picky with who I wanted to start it with. After two years of searching I found her. She made me feel confident and comfortable. The education she gives is so helpful so you’re actual able to do your hair yourself after the salon. The atmosphere of her shop is peaceful and inviting.
