About this business

The most important thing about Chinese food is that it is family style dining; meaning orders brought to the table should be presented to the table and shared by all members as if a family. This sense of family is what Chinese people live for. It is not about “Your” dish and “Your” words; it changes into “Our” food and “Our” conversation. Additionally, you get to taste more than one item on the menu. Your or now “Our” taste buds are cleared and reintroduced to new t... read more

Someone took a dump in my food and put C men in my water and served it to me (just an exaggeration, but it shows how atrocious the food was). Not to mention they took a dump in the urinals.

Family Friendly not quite fine dining Chinese I don't normally venture to Chinatown for Chinese food. I tend to get distracted by the Vietnamese, Malay, and Korean offerings a long the way. This time though I went on a mission to find Peking Duck. We happily found it here. I liked that the staff was accommodating of my family of 5 with two children. They weren't the most attentive but definitely friendly and willing to try. The wait for the food was rather short, then again there was only one other table when we came in. But... read more

Very Disappointing – This restaurant serves Szechwan and Mandarin cuisine. We each started off with a cup of corn and chicken soup that turned out to be egg drop soup with a few kernels of corn tossed in for good measure. We shared entrees of shrimp lo mein and spicy chicken with peppers. Neither dish scaled any culinary heights, but at least I was able to use a 20% off coupon printed off the LVRJ website to ease my disappointment.

Perfect place to host a dinner! – We hosted an intimate dinner for 14 here in their private dining room. The food was wonderful (especially the whole fish, the duck, and the walnut shrimp), the room beautiful, and the prices quite reasonable! Our only complaint would be the staff speaks limited English. AAAA+++

The saltwater fish tank is beautiful. We first ordered an appetizer of sesame shrimp... no sesames in sight... just breaded and deep fried, but tasty. But, the tangerine chicken we ordered was the worst! It came on a small plate in tiny little shriveled up chicken (could've been calamari for all we knew) and drenched in what appeared to be some kind of dark brown sauce... where was the tangerine? Also, the pork in the pork-fried rice was very soggy, also soaked in the same dark brown sauce as the chicken. Didn't care for the... read more

We tried the crispy beef and the sichuan beef. The latter was good, but basically amounted to soggy beef in brown gravy sauce. The former was as good as crispy beef gets, sweet and crunchy. Nice menu, varied and informative.
