Delicious Navartan Korma – This is my second time eating at this restaurant. The service was good, although when my brother ordered a Corona, the waiter had to leave the restaurant to buy the beer at the corner market. The food is excellent. We ordered the Navartan Korma which gave you the feeling of comfort all over. The vegetables, I think were from a can or previously frozen, mixed in a warm cream sauce with a delicate trace of garlic and spices which blended so well together. It was heavenly! Go There for Good Biryani – We made a stopover at San Jose for a night and were craving Indian food. This was the closet to where we were staying and headed there at almost closing time. They were kind enough to prepare Chicken Biryani and Prawn Biryani to go. Having tasted Biryani's at most major cities in the US and being a Biryani aficionado - I can say this rates in the top 5 Biryani's I?ve had in the US Indian restaurants. Great food & customer service - friendly owner - kid friendly – We have been going to this place for last 3-4 years at least once or twice a month. The owner is very friendly and makes sure the service is great. There had been a rude waiter who has now gone to to a famous Santa Clara restaurant after he got fired from Emperor - the owner tried to make up in customer service himself but finally had to let him go - so things are well.
