My Father passed away on 3/14/2025 and I felt the need to publicly express my disappointment in this establishment. Executive Director Beverly Wilson is a friend of Dad's second wife and also is a member of the same church. I can’t say enough about all of the HMC teams that took care of my mom last year! The communication was excellent and she was comfortable through her journey. My mom passed away at Cates House and Dr Velez and her team were kind, compassionate and always went out of their way to make sure we all had whatever was needed. Thank You to Hospice of Marion County for their empathy and support during our families journey. I will always refer family members and friends to this amazing organization.
I called in a panic bc I didn't know what to do about an issue I was having with my sick brothers catheter. Nurse Kevin answered the phone and heard me panicking and told me he's on the way. 20 minutes later he arrived and showed me how to deal with the catheter properly and answered all my questions. He was thorough and professional and helped ease my fears and when he left I felt confident that this will all be in. Thank you ,thank you Nurse Kevin and the staff at Hospice!!
After losing my granny who was like a second mom to my siblings and I growing up.. I am happy she’s not suffering anymore and home with our Lord and Savior but, that was and still is one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. I don’t think I would have handled it as well as I did if it wasn’t for God, my family and the amazing team we got to work with to take care of my granny.
