Absolute lack of care. It’s a waste of time to try to get an appointment here as you have to be seeing an Emory Neurologist in order to get an appointment with a psychiatrist but can only get an appointment with a Neurologist if you have a diagnosis from another doctor that requires a Neurologist. It seems like they are doing their best to avoid helping people/doing their jobs at all costs. i wasn’t surprised to see their rating on here. Please do better.
Wow, this is suppose to be a highly respected hospital. The leaders if this place truly need to evaluate their leadership and services. Based on these reviews the whole leadership team needs to be removed, period.
Went to Emory emergency room for a psych evaluation, they told me to call this number to schedule an appointment with an Emory psychiatrist. So I called the number, the woman asked why I needed a psychiatrist appointment, I told her the ER had referred me that I suffer from depression and anxiety, and she said she could not schedule an appointment for me? lack of services, care, and staff. unable to be a resource and a waste of time.
I liked my doctor, but it’s incredibly frustrating and basically impossible to do anything from making an appointment (you take the time and date you’re given, or you’ll be playing phone tag for days), asking a simple question (“we’ll leave a note”— I have never received a reply or call back), to requesting a refill (another note left- count on calling back and spending 1 hr+ getting lucky enough to get someone on the line who is capable of helping).
