I recently suffered a shoulder bone spur and had complete confidence in Carl Guidy’s expertise and diagnostic skills at Emory Johns Creek Physical Therapy. Carl even managed to greatly improve movement for my arm from a bursitis condition from 40 years ago. He listens carefully, communicates clearly, and appreciated that each session included hands-on and updated physical exercises. Carl closely coordinated with my orthopedic doctor and is readily available when follow-up care is needed.

I’m so glad I transferred my plan of care to this facility. Carl has consistently shown exceptional knowledge, empathy, and positivity throughout my treatment. I’m incredibly grateful for his support, as well as for the dedication and care provided by the physical therapy assistants.

I consistently found my PT juggling three or more patients at a time. Under normal circumstances that might be fine, but immediately post-surgery I needed closer attention. The therapist also dismissed my surgical protocol, glanced at it briefly, and assigned exercises outside of it which ultimately caused an injury that set back my recovery. They don't answer the phone all the time or return voice mail messages in a timely manner. It feels like a three ring circus with a lot of patients receiving care at the same time. This facility was confirmed as an in network provider before I started therapy and my orthopedist recommended them. After my 5th visit, the receptionist called to cancel my appointment because they needed to submit requested documents to my insurance company so I could continue my therapy.
