Everyone was so nice and I felt at ease. They explained everything in detail on what the process is for a major organ transplant.
I've been to alot of hospitals in my life but never have I witnessed such true COMPASSION AND LOVING CARE THAT GOES ABOVE AN BEYOUND THE CALL OF DUTY HERE AT EMORY TRANSPLANT CENTER. My wife has been given a miracle of a new kidney an far as I'm concerned I would not go any where else but here if we had to do it all over again. THANK YOU EMORY TRANSPLANT CENTER.
So far I am very impressed with Emory Transplant team. We saw the nurse practitioner, social worker, nutritionist , transplant financial coordinator and had some test run today. We have to go back to meet the surgeon and Nephrologist. The main thing that impressed me was the attention , thorough assessment and respect for the patient and family.
Everyone is so nice and helpful. I have hope and comfort knowing my husband is good hands. They are doing everything to complete the evaluation so he can proceed on his journey for a new liver. These Dr.s & nurses work around the clock to make sure the patient and family is comfortable. It is like a really big family here. I am thankful to be here with my husband. I am also thankful for everyone here.
