I was at the main location in Decatur for a total shunt system revision. ( I have hydrocephalus) I spent almost 3 months in the neuro/ ICU unit in 2017. The entire staff were wonderful! They really took care of me and really cared about my care and recovery from my brain surgeries.
Nice people and a very broken system. Long holds, dropped calls, promised calls back not made, referrals not placed, cancelled/rescheduled appointments. The only way I've been able to get basic care has been to complain to the clinic manager (who was nice). I was not impressed by the nurse practitioner but liked Dr. Miller.
I had a wonderful experience today at the Stone Mountain location. I honestly chose to come to this particular office after calling several, because the front office staff was very friendly and accommodating on the phone. Even though I am a new patient, they fit me in within a week. Upon arriving, the nurse was incredibly friendly, and my PA was so kind and caring. Absolutely the best My Grandparents has been coming to the Kaufmann Clinic since Dr James Kaufmann was practicing medicine and continuing with Dr Robert Kaufmann the rest of my family has been coming for a while now great group of staff I would recommend any of my friends and family to this clinic they're the best I go there and so does my mom and my stepdad my grandfather my sister and her husband and my brother. My primary care physician is Dr. Kinsey. As a new patient she took the time to hear my concerns and work with me. The office staff as well as the nursing staff are friendly and helpful. I would send anyone to this office.
The medical staff really cares about your needs. They are attentive and efficient. I went there and received the help I needed when other hospitals did not know what to do or turned me away.
I like the convenience of this location, right at Emory Midtown. Parking can be a bear, but the same day appts make it worth it. There can sometimes be a wait in the afternoons, but they have a pretty streamlined process for checking in and checking out, that help the line go fast. The doctors are friendly and knowledgable, with good bedside manners.
This hospital is the worst if you can make it to another hospital then go rather you have insurance or you paying cash they should treat everyone the same but they dont
Rude staff and incompetent "doctors". Don't waste your time. Only chose 1 star because I had to.
