Went to do labs, the front office was okay but the person doing the lab was disrespectful and dismizing,agressive with the blood pull, hurt my arm more than normal. She also was very rude with my wife, and would not let her hold my hand for my blood drawn because I am very afraid of needles, who was also there for lab work.
So I had new insurance and said please make sure the annual is covered to the front desk. They said they did and it was fully covered. Well there was a 30 day no preventative care clause. Now to the terrible service…The Female doc Hiwong I think her name was, didn’t listen and was back to me charting and I had to ask her to come put her hands on me to see what it is I’m speaking of. Nice people great doctors love the attention cleanliness and up to date equipment..
This office is very disorganized, they don't seem to know what they are doing. I had the worst experience. I tried to get my mom's BP medicine and they declined her refill request . When she saw the doctor last she was told to call the office if she needs refills. After a week of me calling the office a list once a day and the pharmacy sending request, we still have no blood pressure medicine. This is considered neglect, when you know that your patient needs blood pressure medicine and you don't care to provide it. This is u... read more
Dr. Nichol-Joiner is a bit brief when discussing symptoms. Trying to get a Rx refilled is badly broken. They want you to use a "web portal". Requests made through the web portal are ignored for many days. Messages to Physician through the portal are also ignored. Calls from a phone get routed to a general Emory call center, who promises that that doctor or nurse on duty will call back - but the call never comes.
