This place is a complete joke. The lack of communication between staff just plain sucks. Every time you take your pet there they act as if it’s their first time and don’t have a clue about medical history because they won’t take the time to look it up. They prescribe the same medications for everything it seems. Don’t be surprised when you get you $600 vet bill when you leave a regular visit.
Not only do they take great care of my pets, they always make a big deal of them when we come in! My dog loves going there! They do great events where I can take him to socialize with other dogs and we are looking forward to trying the doggie day care soon!

My fur babies and I have had to go through multiple vets because of mistakes made or they just didn't fit us. We have just recently started going to Emmitsburg Veterinary hospital and we LOVE it!!! everyone is so sweet and kind there! The building is ADORABLE!!!! their prices are very nice and they were amazing when I had to bring my child. I couldn't ask for a better vet office 💚

Our dogs are happy to board with Emmitsburg Vet. They especially enjoy the play time that they get. They come home relaxed and tired, the perfect result of a stay.
The entire place has a feeling of caring and comfort. The staff is amazing, from the doctors to the techs, and no question has gone unanswered; no request too small. Thank you for taking on Kuma as a new patient and for making these past few weeks as comfortable and supportive as possible!
Amazing staff! Always feel that my Gidget is in the best hands. While I am there I feel like I am at home with family. I drive over an hour to get the best care. It’s worth a visit.
