The food was very fresh and well prepared. My visit was marred by an overly chummy and ultimately insulting waiter named Charles, however.
This is my second visit to Emmett Watsons and I hope to come back. Great service, informal but cozy atmosphere. Had their famous oysters, very fresh and delicious.

We ordered clam chowder and shrimp soup. It was so disappointing. I had to send the shrimp soup back as it tasted like eating warm water with no flavor at all. My parents ordered the clam chowder which tasted and had the consistency of instant mashed potatoes.
Delicious. Salmon soup was amazing, Daves’ grilled salmon was very good too.
The oysters on the half were amazing. The food came out quick, and staff was pleasant. If you need elbow room, this is at your place.
