I'm editing my post because of my subsequent experience with this doctor. He became frustrated with my body’s lack of response to medication and yelled at me saying he didn't know what I wanted him to do for me. He left the room and came back to both me and my wife in tears and was oblivious as to why. When we explained he acknowledged and apologized and called a few days later, but the damage was done. It took two years but I was eventually diagnosed with an ultra-rare disease... Not something yelling at me will fix.
He cut me off repeatedly, rushed me during our brief appt, did not even bother to skim over any of my info for an appt I had scheduled 8 months prior (let alone trying to get into any rheumatologist period for a decade). His suggestions were things my existing care providers & I have already tried over the past 15+ years. Instead he told me to go up on meds that had helped cause an ulcer I was still dealing with when I saw him.
