Dr. Aponte has been my chemotherapist for the past four years. Fighting cancer - twice - has been a daunting struggle. It is physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting. Dr. Aponte has an earnest, calm, and confident demeanor, as well as an economical and clear manner of speaking, with an underlying aura of empathy and genuine concern for her patients. I am glad to have had her as a leader of the medical team treating me at Texas Oncology.
Dr Aponte is always prepared for our meetings, she bases her suggestions on data, she is courteous and friendly.
Dr. E Aponte actually regards you, the whole person, listens to your health concerns to put symptoms in context and treats you with respect and consideration. She also helps you understand options and consequences of choices in treatment.
