I originally came to Emma due to chronic lower back and hip flexor pain. Not only have her treatments supported in alleviating this pain, but I have also experienced greater nervous system and emotional regulation. As someone with cPTSD and other on-going mental health challenges, I feel deeply grounded by Emma's trauma-informed approaches, attention to detail, and understanding of consent. I've been to many healthcare practitioners and I would recommend Emma above all.
Emma has such a calming, open, and bright energy. She is truly committed to the wellbeing of her clients, and over the years, she has helped relieve my neck and shoulder pain, improved my posture tremendously, and addressed related issues. If you are considering osteopathic treatments, I highly recommend booking a session with her.
My dog has had 2 injuries where Emma has provided reassurance and relief! The first injury (shoulder), the veterinarian couldn’t diagnose anything even after x-rays. We spent a lot of money with no answer. Emma’s treatment provided fast relief and the dog healed very quickly. Today we went back after a case of “limp tail” and a kink on the tail. After the 30 minute treatment, my dog was happily wagging her tail and the kink is unnoticeable!
Emma has not only treated myself, but my 14 year old dog as well. My dog is mostly deaf, diabetic and still quite hyper. Emma's calm energy and her patience with my energetic pup are incredible. As she is not an easy patient. However, I have notice big change in her movement since seeing Emma. I am so grateful that we have access to such a talent right here in Roncesvalles.
Dexter, my dog, had been attacked by a dog suffering from senility or untreated pain, and was bitten on his wrist. As a result of this, he was really struggling to walk up the stairs. Because he has a history of having an extremely high pain threshold, this was very concerning.
