Dr Shortridge is by far one of the best doctors that I have had the pleasure of meeting in a very long time. She actually cares! She did my Strabismus surgery in January. I am 56 years old and have suffered from this for a long time. She took the time to educate me about the time it would take to heal and what it would take for my eyes to adjust post-op. I am on the mend and she did an incredible job. I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend her. Her staff is also very professional.
I’m in my 50s and had strabismus surgery yesterday with Dr. Shortridge. My results are better than I imagined. Not just the sight, which is such a relief, but visually, I expected a much worse look as I recover, and 24 hours later it’s hardly noticeable. She knows what she’s doing, couldn’t more highly recommend her!

Dr. Shortridge did my strabismus surgery and I could not be happier with the results! She is very caring and informative throughout the entire process. I would not want my surgeon to be anyone else! Below is a before/after picture. :) I can take pictures/videos and make eye contact with people without thinking twice! If you need a surgeon for your eye(s), Emily is the best option!!!
