I consulted with Dr Malgor regarding a botched surgery I had in Denver with another vascular surgeon (Dr Melendez) for thoracic outlet syndrome. She was nice to consult with but she said she couldn’t help, and she didn’t think another surgery would help. Nor did she have any interest in writing a referral for me to help see a high volume thoracic outlet specialist out of state . She had nothing to sell me so she stopped there. Dr. Emily Mailgor (Vascular Surgeon) is very professional, caring, helpful and explains any questions we may have had. Very through and very pleasant . My husband is very fortunate to have her as his doctor. She is the BEST!
Procedure-wise Dr. Malgor did a great job, 5 starts for that! Billing is what my issue has been. My procedure happened right BEFORE my insurance renewed so it got covered 100%. My post op visit happened AFTER my insurance renewed and I am now responsible to pay that bill. I would pay it if I was not originally told by whoever made my appointments that the post op visit would be covered as part of the main procedure.
