My family and I have been going to Emilia's restaurant for many, many years, and they never disappoint. Recently, I moved to the Bronx with my husband, into a neighborhood about twenty blocks away from Arthur Ave. Unfortunately, the neighborhood has not gotten any better as we had hoped, but we must remain while we save money for our new baby and new apartment. My husband and I being "foodies" who have dined at the best restaurants in Manhattan and also in Italy decided to try Emilia's. All our courses from the appetizer to the dessert were spectacular. We started with the fresh burrata cheese with prosciutto, arugula and basil and tomato. It was absolute perfection. The prosciutto was paper thin and the burrata just melted in our mouths. Had lunch with my son for the first time amd the food was excellent stuffed artichoke and Braciole just like my mother's... almost � there was no string � kidding aside we both enjoyed it very much and the Yankees won !
Had a tremendous lunch today at Emilia's! My girlfriend got a eggplant dish, Padta ala Norma,that was so good!I have never had eggplant that actually melted in your mouth! My Osso Buco was to die for with saffron rice! Lunch specials for $12.95!! Great service and calm atmosphere.. we will be back here for sure!
Food was sub par and too much construction noise to enjoy the patio in solitude.
The best lunch ever had. Cooked to perfection and the service was on the money
So disappointed! One of my favorites until last night. Horrible service, bland food, asked for two bowls of salad, got lettuce with almost no dressing for $47.70!, and the Birthday cake for my friend $50.00, plus they wanted to charge an additional $2.00 / person to serve That they didn't do. When we finally got to the owner, he said get out, if you don't want to spend money eat home, really?? They won't see us again!
