History Established in 1996. Emil J Nagengast Florist established in 1910 is a family owned and operated full service flower shop serving the Albany and surrounding areas from two locations. The original store has been operating for more than 100 years at 169 Ontario Street. A second location at Stuyvesant Plaza was opened in 1996. There are currently 5 generations carrying out our family's legacy of providing excellence in floral design at an affordable price.

Amazing prom flowers – My son got his prom flowers from Nagengast Florist and they got so many complements on them. We just told them the color of his girlfriend's dress and how much we wanted to spend and they made a beautiful corsage and boutonnier for them.
Fantastic customer service – The sales person was really helpful even though I had no idea what I wanted. Their prices were reasonable and my sister was so excited to get the gorgeous flowers. She said everybody in her office was jealous! I'll use them again for sure.
