I would highly recommend retaining Emi Yamasaki as a personal broker to anyone looking to move to New York. Emi was great, very quick to respond, very amenable to answering all the different questions I had and very accommodating of all the different requests. Both the building owner and myself were super satisfied working with her and I think we both walked away very happy with the rate we got and the final brokerage fee. Definitely recommend!

Nov 2023: in all of my housing search, Emi was by far the most personable, helpful, engaged, and kind agent I interacted with. She was so focused on finding me the right home and was very understanding of my situation (I had my disabled grandmother with me, and she made sure she could be involved in everything too).
