The place is beautiful. Really. Our server, Sam, was very nice and accommodating. However, the food was lackluster, flavorless, and cold. My father and I both sent our food back. Also, there is no gluten free menu and no substitutions are given. I asked to swap out toast because of an allergy for a potato hash (which was a poor, sloppy plate of cubed sweet potatoes, flavorless and limp) but was denied and had to pay 5$ extra. Katie was amazing! I had my 1st massage yesterday and it was an amazing experience! I would so do it again!!
I was there with three girlfriends for my bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely perfect! We had a junior suite, the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and two floors! We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant on site and both were superb. We enjoyed an amazing spa day with massages! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We all said we plan to come back again. Fabulous all around!!
We visited the Emerson this weekend to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We've been here several times since our wedding and It was an amazing and relaxing experience, just like always. The spa looks gorgeous following the renovations and I thoroughly enjoyed my 60 min massage and pedicure. Beautiful location with the river flowing at the back. Had a fantastic facial and a good massage. Hot tub outside looking over the river was beautiful. Quiet and not too crowded. Comfy robes and they give you a lot of nice perks (ginger drink and tea/infused water after service). Appointments are very timely. Great products and spa service techniques.
