Emeril's Tchoup Chop (pronounced chop-chop) is the second eatery by Emeril Lagasse at Universal?? Orlando. The name is a nod to New Orleans' famous Tchoupitoulas Street, where Emeril's flagship restaurant is located, and the word "chop" - a bold culinary term. From the stunning design to the innovative menu, Emeril's Tchoup Chop is a unique and exotic journey through the Pacific Seas and a perfect complement for the lush surroundings of the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando.

Good food and service but steaks not cooked to order and problem not corrected... – First of all, we went at lunch time when it wasn't busy at all (there were only 2 tables occupied - ours being one of them). The service was excellent from start to finish (including being very jovial with the kids). The food was very good and moderately portioned. I felt like the lunch prices were a bit steep, but we sort of expected that. If it weren't for the prices, we would definitely go back. Now, the bad... My son ordered his steak rar... read more
This restaurant is hard to find? if you self-park?which I won?t recommend. Literally walking 10 miles before passing through what seemed like an eternity clad banquet or hallway; we finally made it to the entrance of the place. What a beautiful restaurant so peaceful yet uninviting. The stark and cold restaurant is barely lit by the kitchen and the seating arrangement feels like organized chaos. The disheveled staff aligns the back of the wall almost fighting to leap at you in anticipation of them replenishing your glass or ... read more
OUTSTANDING ... AMAZING ... WONDERFUL – My husband and I went to the Tchoup chop on October 5th for our 10 year anniversay. We almost didnt go after reading the reviews on this page but boy am i glad i didnt let someone elses judgement make my decision for me. By far this was the BEST meal i have ever had. The wait staff was spectacular and not pushy at all. The cook even sent out a special appetizer to congratulate us. Thank you all at Emerils for the most amazing night.
Good Service - Almost Too Good. – I hate to sound like a whiny food critic, but the service here was actually too good. We had 2 waiters and 2 servers. They often kept asking us the same things over and over. After a while, it was like, "Enough already. Leave us alone." That aside, the entire experience was amazing. The food was superb and yes, it was expensive. You definitely pay for the service here. They also have a great selection of Sake. The design of the room is breathtaking. Whoever did the design concept of the rest... read more
Just don"t get it! – WENT THERE A FEW TIMES, AND EVEN KNEW THE MANAGER. THE FOOD IS AVERAGE AND THE SEEM TO WAIT ON LARGE TABLES AS AN EXCUSE FOR POOR SERVICE!
very dissappointed – We had gone to Emeril's at Citywalk so we were expecting great food... what we got was very dissappointing. The food was overspiced and way overpriced. I can't believe Emeril puts his name on this place. The meat and fish didn't even seem to be quality, I could've gotten better at the grocery store. There are hundreds of better restaurants in Orlando, and you won't have to shell out $100.
Amazing – It was AMAZING-I've been around the world. Not only was the food beyond words, the evening was an experience. the team of 4 that waited on us made the night a blast I'll never forget.
Food was good. Pork chop was the servers recommendation but it was very sweet. Dessert was very good. Overall food was good. Good to go atleast once to try it out.
Emeril Lagasse combines exotic South Seas flavors with a touch of jazz in this luxurious resort restaurant. – The Scene Lagasse's second Orlando outpost is hidden in the depths of family-friendly Royal Pacific resort and made up like a lush cavern. A very long, gurgling lily pond surrounded by low booths runs through the center. Subdued strains of Dixie jazz are juxtaposed with the nouveau tiki decor to create an unmistakable atmosphere. The Food The kitchen tweaks a number of Pacific Rim standards (crispy whole fish, pork v... read more
