Emeril Lagasse combines exotic South Seas flavors with a touch of jazz in this luxurious resort restaurant. – The Scene Lagasse's second Orlando outpost is hidden in the depths of family-friendly Royal Pacific resort and made up like a lush cavern. A very long, gurgling lily pond surrounded by low booths runs through the center. Subdued strains of Dixie jazz are juxtaposed with the nouveau tiki decor to create an unmistakable atmosphere. The Food The kitchen tweaks a number of Pacific Rim standards (crispy whole fish, pork v... read more

Do Not Recommend – Our waiter was very pushy at persuading my fiance and I to order the more expensive items on the menu because business was 'slow' for them being off-season at the time. He kept pushing for us to order not just one, but TWO appetizers with the reason being that the appetizers are VERY small. For my entree, I was planning on ordering a steamed banana leaf wrapped fish and out waiter kept insisting that that entree was very 'plain' and kept insisting that I get the special for the day- grilled Ono fish. After... read more

Nice Place, Awful Food – Unfortunately Tchop Chop was not what I expected. I've been to Emerils many times and I must say I was very disappointed by the food at Tchop Chop. Our food was very bland and cold. I had the Lemongrass Sea Bass with Seafood Rice for $24. The vegetables in the rice tasted like can vegetables and the fish like it had been frozen for a year. I would definitely not go back, and if I had to go back I would stick with the drinks and the wonton strips with peanut sauce. The place is beautiful, but the food... read more

WOW – Absolutely the best dining experience I have ever had. The food, atmosphere and service even exceeded my already high expectations. The Tchoup Chop salad was excellent as was the soup of the day. The "Clay pot of the day" entree was good, but there are much better entrees on the menu. Everything on the menu sounded great. The most impressive part about dinner was the service. Anyone visiting Orlando should definitely make time to eat here. Its expensive, but worth every penny, and then some.
