Around 1:45 today I went into the Emergimed, and asked if I could see a doctor about a specific issue I was having with a cut I had on my knee. Also, I felt faint. After waiting about five minutes, a girl came to the window. I did not get names, but I can give a general description - she is about 30, and asked how she could help me. The girl today wouldn't help my friend. My friend has the biggest infection on her leg, wasn't feeling well (she has Epilepsy), and the girl behind the desk tried saying it was a private office Meanwhile there were people there. I'm sorry, isn't Emergimed a walk-in clinic? They ought to be shut down. She denied my friend care, and my friend almost passed out from the infection she had on her leg. All she needed was a doctor to look at it, and that's why those types of places exist. This place, however, should be shut down.
3 hour minimum visit. I have been going to emergimed since I was a kid. I have never gotten out of there in under 3 hours. That is not to he disparaging or insulting it is a fact you should know before going. It WILL take 3 hours, even with an appointment. They have good doctors and amazing nurses.
Some of the staff is rude, ATROCIOUS wait time, and nothing specially about the doctors. save your time and patience and go somewhere else.
Dr. Chouake Is the best. He takes his time to listen to your concerns and explains everything so well. Very knowledgeable Doctor. Very easy to talk to. Would recommend him as your family doctor. :)
