Emergicare Medical Clinics is a great option This walk-in clinic is great! We have had fantastic care when we have had to seek treatment for illness and injury after hours when our family doc was not open.
Great Care I've been to secure twice, once with my son for an ear infection over a decade ago (he's in college now) and once recently for my finger injury. Both times I saw Dr. Liss. He is great. The staff is incredible. I felt very comfortable coming into the place, and I hate going to the doctor or dentist. Reading the reviews on this site is pretty amusing. The negative reviews all seem to be from people who didn't get their oxycontin...I guess it's not a great place for the Rush Limbaughs of the world.
Avoid like the plague It's not Urgent care it's Un-Urgent Care. Open at 8 am. Called at 8:02 and asked how long the wait was. I was told 20 -30 mins. Got there 3 mins later, and waited 65 mins before going to the back. All told it was 1 hr & 35 mins. They are far more conecrned with other parts of their business (phys/occ therapy & pre-empl drug tests). The receptionist shouldn't be anywhere near the public/customers/patients. There are other UC places nearby - go to one of them instead.
Poor Servce Per more than one of my co-workers - "They are Incapable of proper review because they work for employers and do not follow the hippacratic oath". DO NOT SEE Dr. Gibbins. The doctor released my coworker to come back to work hours after he broke his ankle and fractured the other foot!!
MS Avoid this doctor at all costs!! He is on the side of the insurance company and not the patient. If my wrist is obviously dislocated why would you tell me to deal with the pain? This doctors dismissive attitude has cause permanent damage to my wrist. And by the way, immediate surgery would've stopped that. He's alll about physical therapy "in house" and steroid injects. The injection he gave me sliced the severed tendon completely. I am losing my job as a result of his incompetence.
nice place! The place was very clean and the staff was great, the prices are a lot better than other urgent cares. I would definitely recommend it!
Best place when Your primary doc can't see you I've been a secure care customers for many years. They have days where waits are around 10 mins and other days when the waits can be over an hour. All in all it beats going to the ER. I just learned to call ahead to ask how long the wait is. Recently, I needed to get a yellow fever vaccine for traveling and got it taken care of there too.
Great Care! I'm a nurse, so I'm motivated to write this review since I feel like I have a unique perspective on medical facilities. I've been to both the Gaithersburg and the College Park clinics. I've always received great care, both with and without insurance. The staff and doctors are so Great! I never told them that I am a nurse, but they still treat me wonderfully. The staff has always made me feel comfortable and although in general I don't like doctors, the physicians have been friendly, caring, and thorough.
HOW CAN DR.'S GET AWAY WITH TREATING PATIENTS SO HORRIBLY?! I can not believe Dr.'s get away with treating poor ol patients so bad!-I wanted to vomit from the way I was treated! Do not go to this facility! I must say that when I read all these bad experiences/reviews before going, I was curious if they had the wrong place! I had been once before & Dr. Moody was soooo nice to me (even though the Dr.today told me that she must of really liked me bc that's very unusual for her to be so nice???-um...weird!).
