They shoved me out in the middle of the night and let me die, even though I’ve had schizophrenia in my entire adult life. Do not go to Mercy. If you have mental health disabilities, they will not do anything to help you. The nurses are great I love them. But the social services department and the doctors are lacking either a recognition of full-blown schizophrenia disabilities or interest in helping people I’m not sure which. They’d let your completely mentally incapacitated parents just wander out in the middle of the night after midnight on their own. Without any protection. Complete negligence. Only go to mercy if you’re dying from something and not for any sort of mental health disabilities whatsoever. I.have always gotten excellent care in the ER. They are through and detailed. Make sure you have the care you need and know what to do when released. I feel for the nurse and staff there seems to always be people in there that are rude and pushy and yelling for pills.
Listened to some of their staff talk homophobic for an hour and heard them talking abt colord ppl in a derogatory way gotta love redding
