The new emergency department at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center is truly state-of-the-art. The facility feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There are plenty of parking spaces, which makes arriving much less stressful. The check-in process is efficient and well-organized, and the staff are helpful and professional throughout. Most importantly, the level of care and skill demonstrated by the medical team is impressive. Overall, a top-notch facility that reflects a high standard of emergency care.

Came in with chest pain, left in the waiting room..nothing besides EKG and vitals. No sense of urgency or proactive tasks..... do you guys think that STEMI the only form of heart attack? How were you able to determine there is no cardiac ischemia? This was violation of ACLS STANDARDS on acute coronary syndrome. Shame!!! would not recommend to anyone I care about.

Family member came in with significant chest pain. They made him wait in the waiting room for hours without atleast simple interventions such as blood work, observation.

Still waiting to be seen after 2 hours in severe pain. The worst part is that the security guards are rude and authoritarian. I felt like I was a second class citizen. Zero compassion, and zero customer service. They appear to take pride in 'bossing' people around. My wife is hypoglycemic and asked to get food out of our car and she was told by security that she wouldn't be allowed back in. I hope the guards are treated better than we were if they ever need to access services.
