After being a Kaiser member for approximately 4 years I had my first visit to the Fresno ER. I have never been to a more miserable medical facility. The waiting room was small, cramped, and there were only about 4 open seats when I arrived. I wanted to stand up as I had a stiff back and there was no place to do this except for near the door where the security guards kept telling me to please go sit down. The ER visit me and my son had to experience today was sad, horrible and disappointing. The er was pretty empty. The nurses seems annoyed that we were there. My son has been having constant stomach pain and vomiting and they told us “that’s not good, make sure to keep your future appointment with your doctor and let him know your issues” and then sent us back to the waiting area until they were ready to give him nausea medicine. Dr and nurses give same advice to all patients… A pain pill and Tylenol or ibuprofen And follow up with your doctor!! Not concerned about your symptoms!!

Brought my 83 year old mom here after she had a fall at home. The staff were friendly and efficient. She unfortunately sustained a fracture, but was sent home in a splint and sling with follow up care with an orthopedist. Very happy with the care received.
