I came into the ER with my son. They were very quick and attentive. They have a great deal of compassion for the patients they treat. While I was waiting for my son they brought in what appeared to be a unhoused man. And the staff treated him so kindly. Thank you for showing humanity when sometimes it's lacking in today's society.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this ER today. I came in seeking pain relief after a serious car accident injury, and the level of professionalism was severely lacking. When I explained that I was still in significant pain and needed additional support, the doctor responded with a smirk that made me feel dismissed and unheard. Not only did he fail to listen to me, but he incorrectly stated that my primary care doctor had refilled two of my medications, when in reality only one was refilled. After being a Kaiser member for approximately 4 years I had my first visit to the Fresno ER. I have never been to a more miserable medical facility. The waiting room was small, cramped, and there were only about 4 open seats when I arrived. I wanted to stand up as I had a stiff back and there was no place to do this except for near the door where the security guards kept telling me to please go sit down. The ER visit me and my son had to experience today was sad, horrible and disappointing. The er was pretty empty. The nurses seems annoyed that we were there. My son has been having constant stomach pain and vomiting and they told us “that’s not good, make sure to keep your future appointment with your doctor and let him know your issues” and then sent us back to the waiting area until they were ready to give him nausea medicine.
