I have never been treated so unprofessionally. I feel genuinely sorry for anyone coming to receive care, you will not be treated with respect, urgency, or anything other than a burden. I sincerely hope that at some level the hospital will see the overwhelming amount of negative reviews and feedback and will change their practices, but this seems like a wish more than anything. Disheartening to say in the least, I don't feel safe at Samaritan.
Our family has been using this ER close to 20 years. Over the last several years the wait time has been long, and yesterday we waited over 7 hours to get into a room. The lobby staff along with the triage nurses were not helpful and at times unprofessional. Once admitted into the treatment room the nurses were great. The doctor rushed the visit, and didn’t help. If I could give them negative stars I would. Went into the ER for a wound that was septic. They told me to hang out and they would call me up. 3 hours later, nothing. The pain is so high I'm crying and passing out from it. A nurse said to me word for word "Hang tight, there are other people that are more important than you that need to be seen first". This place is a disgrace. I'll never go here again. I'll drive up to Salem
Surprised the doctors and nurses have certifications or went to school. If you can I recommend going to urgent care instead because you will not find any good medical practices being in use here. It’s a huge waste of money and not worth the debt unless absolutely necessary.
