Had been having irregular heartbeat for a couple weeks then suddenly became extremely dizzy, disoriented, and was vomiting. Yesterday Afternoon I had a physical problem that led me to the ER. I was checked in and triaged quickly.. And after a wait, I was brought to the back to a clean room. From beginning to end I was treated with respect, professionalism, and friendliness. My concerns were validated, and all doctors, nurses and staff did their best to track down the problem I was having. AWFUL. Went in because I've fainted 5x from low blood sugar in the last week and wanted to know WHY (not diabetic, brand new symptoms). My doctor also *told me* to go to ER because of how abnormal it was. I'd treated with glucose tablets earlier in the day because sugar has resolved the problem every time, only for it to inevitably dip again despite eating low-glycemic and frequently. I went in for kidney stones 8mm and was told to go home and wait for the dr appointment the next day. While I was there an elderly woman was told by a nurse that they needed a urine sample. The nurse pushed her into the bathroom in her wheelchair and just left her there for over a hour until people kept telling the staff. At first the staff didn’t do anything until me and two other patients started raising our voices and causing a scene.
