This place was amazing. The staff was very helpful I was made comfortable the entire time.
The workers here are very rude especially the African nurse they do not care although the facility is new the service is poor my daughter has sickle cell and at this moment she still hasn’t gotten pain medication or a IV was told they have an emergency so I guess it takes up all the workers I even called and was transferred to a line where no one picks up went straight to voicemail this is our second experience here will not be returning
On July 4, 2025, around 11:00–11:30 AM, my boyfriend Ryan and I visited the emergency room at the University of Maryland hospital in Largo due to a serious medical concern. Unfortunately, our experience with the triage staff particularly a nurse named Erin and two other African nurses on a previous occasion was deeply upsetting and unprofessional. Deserves ZERO STARS. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALLLLLL COSTS. They are understaffed, inadequate, & unprofessional. Rooms are dirty. Directions constantly unclear. A lot of nurses & assistants have ZERO bedside manner. Perhaps they got their certification from chatgpt because these CANNOT be medical professionals. This isn’t McDonald’s where if you have a bad day you can just throw fries in the bag, you must always do your job correctly.
