How can a hospital get the number 1 ranking in the world and get 2.7 star average reviews in their ER? Had to bring someone into this ER and are told it is a 7.5 hour wait? Really Mayo is dropping the ball in a big way
Got to the ER after having ambulance come to sever head pain and him being unconscious. Got to the ER and have been waiting six and a half hour. Patients who came in after us left before us. We were on top of the list and constantly other people who were here shorter times were getting out before us. We consistently asking when will we be seen and the response the front desk gave us is “there is sick people”. For being the best hospital in the world they aren’t very empathetic nor professional.
The worst experience I have ever encountered at a hospital. This quote on quote world class medical facility is lazy, unsympathetic and the worst I have ever seen. They force patients to wait for 6 hours with only taking vitals. Patients in the waiting room screaming in pain, people sleeping and camping out for over 8-9 hours. These are people’s lives and they will just let them lay in the waiting room with no care in the world. Not world class, not first class, just trash and a joke of a medical facility.
