Come on guys. If you have an actual emergency, this ER is phenomenal. I work as an EMT in the cities/south suburbs and have seen MANY emergency rooms. Being a patient at this one was a surprisingly good experience (except for one medication that I had a terrible reaction to, but that’s really not their fault). They literally had multiple nurses for me; when I called for help, I got immediate care. I was also very quickly triaged. Emergency rooms are mainly meant for immediate threat to life or limb. Don't bother going unless you're dying. Family member released bleeding.
Horrible!!! Long wait time (5-6hrs), then you have Drs that are over worked and just want patients gone. Give IV fluids, pain meds and out the door you go. 3rd visit in 3 1/2 and finally Dr Kummer (5 stars for him) took an interest in what was going on with my daughter. She was finally admitted and answers were coming.
I can’t say this emergency room this joke you have to wait 7 to 8 hr just be seen doctor and to Tell you follow up your primary doctor. I am Sick I come for treatment and I was told seat in chair where i felt more pain even coming here. If you have emergency in your area please don’t come here you will be kept hostage where you feel walking out and wish die with pain.
My son had a seizure and was taken by ambulance to Mayo. Was there hours and I knew he was still not ok. They discharged him and the minute we came home he had another seizure. Called the ER and they did not seem to care. Very disappointed with Mayo.
