I have had emergency room visit to Olathe Medical Center due to my pregnancy and received 3 bills including one from Emergency Medical Center. Everything else except of this was coded as maternity care so my insurance covered it however Emergency Medical Care bill was coded as “medical care” because as they said pregnancy was the second line in a diagnostic from Olathe Medical Center. If I could give negative stars or no stars, that would be most appropriate. Over a year of phone calls and notes and getting told different stories every time I talked with them, they still claim the same excuses of my insurance not sending documentation of the EOB meanwhile my insurance and their representatives have been on many 3-way calls. As of over a year later, still fighting and still the same line even thought the EOB has been confirmed sent, claiming I owe them money... and we don't.

In 2021 my 6yo son fell out of a shopping cart and we took him into OMC (Olathe Medical Center) for triage and treatment (he ended up having a concussion 😢). All the claims that resulted from that visit were paid in full, except for one from Emergency Medicine Care, LLC. The unpaid claim wasn't due to my insurance not covering it (I called multiple times to try and figure out why my insurance wasn't paying anything, and they told me that they don't have any claims from Emergency Medicine Care, LLC).
