after waiting for 6 hours, with my torso separated from my lower body, while people with stubbed toes were rushed in past me, i was finally admitted. they gave me a dinosaur band-aid and a lollipop, then sent me home to walk it off. 10/10 experience...
I came in with a potentially significant issue and I’m so grateful to the staff in the CVMC ER. They saw me quickly and were all courteous and took my concerns seriously. Nurse Laura is clearly a consummate pro and her humor helped calm my nerves. Dr. Bak was very thorough, even staying after his shift ended to finish going through my history with a consulting doctor. Thank you all for making me feel cared for during a very scary moment.
I arrived with a broken foot and the nurses were amazing- especially Stacey. I had basically no wait time and everyone was very helpful and friendly.
