The emergency room staff at this hospital was incredible. Everyone from the front desk to the supervising doctor took me and my health seriously, which is unfortunately hard to come by with invisible conditions like pots. The nursing staff was attentive and so helpful, even charging my phone for me. Thank you.
I experienced patient abuse during multiple visits to this ER.
After being pushed off to the side, like I was nothing by Marriott Hospital, I came to UW Hospital, where it was a night and a difference. In the way I was treated. The nurses name was Zane, He was extremely respectful and attentive gave me top-notch care even at times when the doctors seemed too busy. He was extremely kind and overall seemed like he really cared about his job. I really appreciated that if any of you are lucky enough to get Zane as your nurse, I would say you’re in good hands!
I never want to have to take someone to Emergency, but when you have to, UW Hospital Emergency in Madison, Wisconsin is simply the best! Unfortunately it seems the people inclined to leave reviews had bad experiences. We had a great experience when we needed it most! Emergency is based on priority and my wife could not walk unassisted, hence her priority! Proper triage is soooo important, as is prioritizing care. Emergency isn't a first come, first serve thing!
