The nurses and check in staff were wonderful, the doctor who treated me not so great. The lacerations on my fingers wouldn't stop bleeding for 90 minutes (even after applying constant pressure), but he proceeded to scold me for going into the (nearly empty) emergency room and said I should have gone to urgent care, which is incorrect advice for persistent bleeding wounds. His stitches were nicely done, I will say that, but his advice made me very concerned, both for insurance purposes and just in general. We did go to urgent... read more
Worst experience of my life.
I had to take my seven year-old niece to the emergency room at midnight during a Camping trip at Cape Lookout State Park. The emergency room staff treated her like a literal princess from the moment we came in the door. She was given top-of-the-line service by the nursing staff, the x-ray technician, the doctor and the nursing supervisor. They were thorough And communicate with us through every step. Had to rush my daughter here while we were on an over night trip due to an asthma atrack and the front desk lady jumped into action quickly she was sooooo friendly. The nurse was sooo sweet and understanding she made sure to help us quickly to get my daughter the help she needed. The dr and respiratory therapy came in quickly got her steroids and a nebulizer treatment which helped like usual.
